LandscapeDNDC

A simulation framework for terrestrial ecosystem models

LandscapeDNDC is a simulation framework designed for terrestrial ecosystem models on site and regional scales (Haas et al. 2013). The model is primarily used for research questions related to carbon and nitrogen cycling, including greenhouse gas emissions, nutrient leaching to the groundwater, biomass growth and yield estimates. The model can be applied to a wide range of ecosystems including, forests, grasslands, wetlands and different types of lowland and upland cropping systems. It is actively developed at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in collaboration with the Land-CRAFT center at Aarhus University.
